Samsung has filed a new patent which reveals another attempt by the company to give that extra inch of the display to the users. The latest patent that was filed by the company to the World Intellectual Property Organization last year finally got published today.

The latest patent shows both the camera and fingerprint scanner on the display itself.

최근의 특허는 디스플레이 자체 위에 있는 카메라와 지문인식 스캐너를 보여준다.

While there are companies trying hard to embed the fingerprint scanner into the display, an in-display camera is something new for everyone.

지문 스캐너를 화면 속에 장착하고자 열심히 노력하는 회사들이 있지만, 디스플레이 내장카메라는 모두에게 너무 새로운 방식이다.

Samsung has also added all the front sensors in the display which to be fair looks good on paper.

삼성은 또한 공평히 말해서 종이에 어울리는(종이 같은)  화면속에 모든 센서를 집어 넣었다.

Coming to the in-display fingerprint scanner, it looks a lot similar to the one shown by VIVO during CES this year.

디스플레이 내장 지문 스캐너에 관해선 그것은 올해 CES에서 비보사가 보여준 것과 꽤나 유사해 보인다.

The patent doesn’t reveal anything other than this and we might not ever see this concept in a real device.

이 특허는 이것 외에 다른 어떤 것도 보여주지 않고 우리는 실제 휴대폰에서 이러한 컨셉을 전에 본 적이 없을 것이다.

Whatever the case may be, one thing is certain that Samsung sure does have some great ideas for its devices.

경우가 어떻든 간에 삼성이 자사 휴대폰에 대한 대단한 발상을 정말 갖고 있다는 것 하나는 확실하다.
